Who can apply for a Schengen Belgium Visa in the Philippines

  • If you are only visiting Belgium, Luxembourg, or Slovenia in the Schengen Area;
  • For those who are traveling around the Schengen Area but stays in Belgium the longest

Main Requirements in Applying for Schengen Belgium Visa for Tourists

You’ll need to have 2 sets – an original and a copy.

1. Schengen Visa Application Form – fill it up online

2. Valid Passport – valid for a minimum of 3 months after your end of stay

3. Passport copy – of the bio-page and pages with visas and stamps

4. 1 Passport-Sized Photo – with white background taken within the last 6 months

5. Proof of Accommodation – Hotel Confirmation or Hotel Voucher

6. Proof of Transportation – e.g., domestic flight, bus, or train reservations

7. Travel Itinerary – Detailed day-to-day planned trip

Additional Requirements for those with a Sponsor

  • Proof of RelationshipInvitation letter, Birth or Marriage Certificate, or Travel History with sponsor
  • Proof of Sponsorship (in case applicant has no financial means)
    • Bijlage 3Bis – Pledge of Financial Support, this must be legalized by Belgian Municipality where the partner is registered
    • Belgian ID or Resident ID Card
    • Samenstelling van het gezin or Composition de Menage – Family Composition of the sponsor, obtained from partner’s municipality in Belgium
    • Proof of Income of Sponsor – for the last 3 months – payslips and income tax assessment paper from the Finance Department in Belgium

STEP 4: On the day of your appointment, go to the Visa Application Center with your documents. Your picture and fingerprints will also be captured. Don’t forget to pay the Visa Fee and VFS Service fee.
