Place de la Concorde is the main square in Paris. It’s located in the 15th arrondissement and was named after the Beauvais suburb it’s connected to. It’s a lovely area in Paris and is popular among photographers. The main attraction is the fountain and monument, but if you walk a few hundred feet away, there are several cafés and restaurants. There’s a great place called Place des Vosges which is a place to be seen with its abundance of Parisians.

The du Repos Vert (green place) is one of the most popular attractions as well. It’s right next to the main square and is a lovely place to go and enjoy the sun. The square is surrounded by nice cafes and bistros.

Point Beauvois

Point Beauvois is a café and jazz bar located in the 5th arrondissement. It’s a popular place, and it offers a full bar and jazz band every night. It was founded in 1945 by a couple, Bruno and Jeanne, who put down their lives and livelihood to save the bar and jazz from destruction after World War II.

As it was on one of the main crossroads in Paris, it became the last safe place in the city when it was in ruins. The restaurant and bar still follow the same philosophy of caring for the city, as it offers discounts for locals, especially the elderly and those with disabilities.
