Can I cancel my airBaltic flight? Refund and Flight Cancellation Policy
airBaltic (AS Air Baltic Corporation) is an airline in Latvia and the country’s flag carrier. Their fleet size is only small, with 38 carriers, mostly Airbus A220-300s, but serves 80 destinations. If you would like to stop traveling for a while and have a change of plans, you can cancel or rebook online. Here’s a Step by Step Guide on How to Change Flights or Get Refunds on airBaltic.
Like most airline carriers nowadays, many flights are suspended. However, airBaltic still has special flights to serve citizens or residents of Latvia and their neighboring countries and bring them back home. In case you can’t contact them through their numbers, you can change your bookings online.

For the next few days or weeks, it’s not the best time to travel, as many countries are imposing restrictions. It’s better to change travel plans and, hopefully, do it in the last half of the year. Why not do productive things at home? Let’s all travel when things get better! Keep safe!

Hi Lyza,
Can you clarify if I opt for the monetary refund of my tickets due to cancellation over the pandemic period is a FULL REFUND? As my ticket is a Basic ticket and I am unsure if the Air Baltic will only refund me the tax portion.
Hello, this is brilliant as I have a flight booked then has been cancelled! I have filled out the information to get a refund rather than new ticket, but they have no responded in over a week now, do you have experience with how long this usually takes? Just a bit confused! Thank you
Most airlines actually take a month or more to reply, so please wait for AirBaltic’s response as it may take more than just a week.
