One of the most beautiful beaches in Karpathos. It’s a huge natural swimming pool with crystal clear water enclosed in a scenario that cannot be described. If you are looking for relaxation it is the ideal place, you can only hear the sound of the sea and the wind. There are no bars or taverns on the beach, so if you plan to spend the day there, just take your necessities with you. The beach is pebbly, but the seabed is sandy and slowly degrades, unlike many other beaches on the island.

A small pebbly beach equipped with about 25-30 umbrellas and sunbeds. The beautiful sea where you can go swimming to see a very suggestive cave. It is worth staying there for a full day bath.

Diakoftis is ideal for those who love the sandy beach. It consists of two opposite beaches at a distance of 100 meters between them which are located right next to the airport of Karpathos. Both are equipped with rentable umbrellas and loungers.

See an awesome view, from the highest point of the island. After about 2 hours walking through beautiful and rich nature, you will arrive at the top of the Kali Limni. When you go here, you should also stop by at the Thanassis Tavern, they have mouthwatering dishes that you’d definitely love!

6. Folk Art Museum

This museum is small but at the same time very comprehensive in terms of the variety of exhibits about the traditional life in Karpathos and more specifically in the village of Menetes. Here, you can see the traditional tools and old photos.

7. Archaeological Museum Karpathos

The museum is located in a central part of the capital. It is a small and well-organized museum that covers some finds from Karpathos, from the late Neolithic period 4000 BC to the Middle Ages. It has a very beautiful collection of archaeological remarkable findings of Karpathos. The explanations are with signs in English and the visit takes little time.
