Mount Teide is the most popular site in Tenerife. It stands 3.718m or 12, 198ft. It is highly recommended to visit due to the stunning view of the mountain! You can experience a lot of activities during your trip here, walking across the Canary Islands pine forest and the village of Vilaflor. And then you’ll reach the base of the cable car that will take you to the mountain with an altitude of 3, 500 meters. But, of course, if you like more challenge, then you can hike your way up to the peak, without using the cable car!

Day 2 – Weekend Guide to Tenerife, Spain

Whale Watch Tenerife

After a day in the mountain, let’s explore the ocean! On this trip, you’ll be able to see the beautiful whales and dolphins while seeing the stunning view of the ocean. Not only that, but you can also listen to the whales and dolphins using a hydrophone! That’s once in a lifetime experience. Don’t miss this one out!

Exploring the Anaga Mountains, you could spend weeks and still have so much left to explore. If you’re a hiker, there are plenty of hiking routes available. However, if you’re not into hiking, you can still explore the forests and coastline. Some areas can be experienced by the road that will make your road trip more epic due to the stunning view of lush forests and coastlines all in the mix.

These two are highly recommended trips on your day 2. However, if you want to explore more in the Anaga Mountains, then you can spend your whole day there if you’d like.

Day 3 – Weekend Guide to Tenerife, Spain
