In this dire time, airlines like Delta are making it easier for customers to cancel, rebook, or change your booking. Due to many cancelations, contact them if your flights or travel is within 72 hours. You can do it online, too!

Updates

You can check out current updates of Delta Air Lines here.

Available Options

  • You can cancel your ticket, and you’ll get eCredits for your future use
  • If you are not able to reach Delta before departure and not take your flight, changes will be processed, and your ticket becomes an unused eCredits within 24 hours
  • If Delta canceled your trip, they will inform you
  • If your new fare is lower than your original flight, you will receive eCredits for the difference, but if it’s higher, then fare difference will apply. However, if it’s for the same date, origin and destination you won’t have eCredits if the price is lower

Tickets Purchased Between March 1 – 31, 2020

  • Travel Dates are from March 1, 2020 – February 25, 2021
  • Can be changed as many times with no fees
  • For one-year life of the ticket (New Ticket  or Rebooking must be issued on or before February 28, 2021)
  • Fare differences may apply

US Domestic Travel (March or April)

  • Travel within the US departing until April 30, 2020 (not including travel to US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico)
  • Change Fees are waived
  • Fare differences may apply for trips departing on May 1 – December 31, 2020, with the same destination
  • You cancel without a fee and use your credit for a new flight
  • New ticket must be reissued on or before December 31, 2020

International Travel (March, April, May)

  • International Travel until May 31, 2020 (including travel to US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico)
  • Change Fees are waived
  • Fare differences may apply for travels departing on June 1 – December 31, 2020, with the same destination
  • You cancel without a fee and use your credit for a new flight
  • New ticket must be reissued on or before December 31, 2020

How to Change your Flight Booking with Delta

STEP 1: Go to My Trips.

STEP 2: Find your trip using your Confirmation Number, Credit or Debit Card Number, or Ticket Number.

STEP 3: Select the flight you wish to change. Click “Modify Flight

STEP 4: Click “Start Flight Change” and select flights for your new flight.

STEP 5: The change fee is waived. Pay the fare difference.

STEP 6: Receive a new Flight Itinerary.

STEP 3: Find a new flight and apply your eCredits.

Using eCredits for non-Sky Miles Members

STEP 1: Find your Flight ticket number from [email protected].

STEP 2: Redeem your eCredits here. Enter your flight number and click “Look Up.”

    Last February 8 I purchased online a round trip Manila to Los Angeles … departure May 21 , return June 3…
    Due to the covid outbreak , delta changed first the schedule flight but then , looking at what was going on in the USA, I decided to cancel my flight having in return from Delta an Ecredit to be used for a future flight … unfortunately my personal situation it deteriorated to the point that now I am facing ” real problems of survival ” so I am thinking to request for a redound of my ticket from Delta … I tried several options but I am having hard time to get a reply from them also because don’t know to whom at Delta to address my problem … I decided to contact you while searching in Google about solutions to my problem … hope I was able to illustrate my situation in an enough understandable way … I will wait for your reply … would like to thank you in advance for your kind cooperation and I would say that you are doin a great service to passengers with problems … it’s something really amazing what you doing and hopefully other people could follow you in helping people got solutions in various field … take care , keep safe and more power in your life ?
