After our non-stop travels together from South America to Australia, I traveled solo again and decided to take our trips separately – as part of fulfilling our dreams. One of the countries that I went to during our individual trips was Hong Kong.

Check out some of the cool and cheap tours you could do in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong, if you must know, is one of the most visited countries of Filipinos for a number of reasons. One, you don’t need to secure a visa if you will stay for 14 days or less. Two, it’s just a short-haul flight from the Philippines – making the travel time easy to bear. Three, you get to see a lot of amazing spots in Hong Kong! I can list more things but I’ll leave it at that for now.

For this particular trip, I stayed in this luxurious property in Hong Kong called The Pottinger. And yes, I would recommend this most especially if you have a particular taste when it comes to elegance and beauty.

Why should you stay at The Pottinger Hong Kong?

I got really surprised when they handed me the key for Hollywood Suite. It was big room and I got nobody to share it with. That’s when it hit me! Why not call someone that I know from Hong Kong and share the room?  Good thing Ate Belle was available. It made my stay even better.

I was glad that we had complimentary in-room WiFi because I was able to work, post and even shared my room through live stream. I loved the fanciness and sophistication of the room. Everything was above the ordinary, from the big bed to the amazing view. The Pottinger will definitely exceed your expectation.

The Rooms

  • Classic Rooms – The space is perfect for a solo traveler and couples. It has a king or twin bed with an amazing bathroom that will give you a serene stay.
  • Deluxe Room – Get more space with the deluxe room, ideal if you are bringing a kid with you. Some rooms have their own bathtubs which I think little children adore. I remember my niece getting so giddy back in Manila in her own bathtub!

What I also love about this property is the restaurant choices which will keep any guest full for the entire day. Well, you will need that energy because going around Hong Kong, while extremely fun, can be exhausting!
