Is Cambodia Visa Free for Filipinos? [Visa Free, VOA, eVisa and Visa Extension Tips]

Cambodia is one of our ASEAN neighbors where Filipinos can enter without the need to apply for a visa. You can enter visa free to Cambodia for 30 days. Enjoy the Kingdom with a rich history from the Angkor Empire to its independence. Feel the warmth of the Cambodians and check out the jungle ruins and ancient temples in the Kingdom of Cambodia.

Unfortunately, there are no direct flights from the Philippines to Cambodia, however, you can enter through Thailand or Vietnam. Most Filipinos do the tri-city backpacking route which is Thailand-Cambodia-Vietnam or vice-versa.

How to Get a Cambodia eVisa

STEP 1: Prepare soft copies of your document and a credit card for payment.

STEP 2: Go to this website. Type details asked.

STEP 4: Pay the eVisa Fee.

Cambodia Visa Extension at a Glance

Extension for: 1, 3, 6 or 12 months (for Ordinary Visa, not Tourist Visa)

Entries: Single for 1-3 months, Multiple for 6-12 months

Process: 2 – 5 days

Where to apply: Immigration office in Cambodia or the Embassy of Cambodia in the Philippines

  • Valid Passport (more than 6 months with 2 blank pages)
  • 6 x 4 cm Passport Photo
  • Visa Fee (USD 45-300)
  • Valid Work Permit (for those extending for 6-12 months)

Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training (MLVT) issues work permits for foreigners. Your employer may process your work permit, if you plan working, you need to have an Ordinary Visa (E).
