2. Dalt Vila

A cute little old town with some small restaurants and a super nice view at the top. It is on a hill and can be reached on foot. It takes about 45 minutes to start at Vara de Rey and quickly walk up the small winding streets. You’ll find many interesting buildings, small shops, cafes and restaurants on the way. The beach itself is not so exceptional but the landscape created by the red rock wall several meters high that runs along its entire perimeter is truly striking. The view from above with the contrast created between the colors of the rocks and those of the sea is nothing but amazing. El Puig de Missa is an important architectural complex and an emblematic component of the heritage of the town of Santa Eulalia des Riu. It is a pleasant walk that can be done on foot about 500 meters from the town hall. Once above, the view is wonderful, you can see the whole town, the mouth of the Sta Eulalia river, and the imposing Mediterranean.
