Eclectic rooms, unique atmosphere, kind service, friendly staff – it is impossible to label Casa Thorn as just another good bed and breakfast in Islamorada, Florida Keys, Florida. This accommodation is uniquely home!

Step inside, and it feels just like your grandmother’s house. Actually, it is! The owner, Mrs. Thorn, is turning 90 years old, but still, she is the one handling all the reservations. She taught herself how to use the computer. Talk about personal service!

Casa Thorn is definitely a treasure on this side of the Florida Keys. It is near the many attractions, restaurants, and activities in the area, and it is also an ideal setting for a most romantic wedding celebrated in privacy and luxury.

The True Embodiment of ‘Home Away From Home’

If you are tired of the cookie-cutter accommodation, your spirit will absolutely rejoice at Casa Thorn. The rooms are full of character, eclectic and quirky, yet they ooze elegance and home comforts.

We stayed at the Moroccan Room while my friend stayed in the Bombay Room. We had the biggest room with the massive bath tub plus when you open the door it is the swimming pool!

We love the room, massive TV and bathroom, fridge, and even microwave! Simply put, this is the embodiment of ‘Home away from home’!

The Food

Breakfast is free, and it is really incredible! Our breakfast was prepared by Angela, the manager of the property, and it is the best! Massive portions as well: hot and fresh eggs, pancakes, and bacon for breakfast! We were able to skip lunch!
