How to get to TeamLab Planets from the airport?

If you’re landing at Narita International Airport, you have several transportation options to reach TeamLab Planets:

  1. Train: Take the Narita Express (N’EX) or the Skyliner to Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, transfer to the Yamanote Line and alight at Yurakucho Station. Finally, transfer to the Yurakucho Subway Line and get off at Toyosu Station, which is the nearest station to TeamLab Planets. The entire journey takes approximately 90 minutes.
  2. Airport Limousine Bus: Look for the limousine bus service bound for Tokyo Station. Once at Tokyo Station, follow the train directions mentioned above to reach Toyosu Station.

If you’re arriving at Haneda Airport, you can choose from the following transportation options to reach TeamLab Planets:

  1. Train: Take the Tokyo Monorail from Haneda Airport to Hamamatsucho Station. From Hamamatsucho Station, transfer to the Yamanote Line and travel to Yurakucho Station. Then, switch to the Yurakucho Subway Line and disembark at Toyosu Station, the nearest station to TeamLab Planets. The total travel time is approximately 45 minutes
  2. Airport Limousine Bus: Find the bus service bound for Tokyo Station. Upon reaching Tokyo Station, follow the train directions mentioned above to reach Toyosu Station.

Once you arrive at Toyosu Station, it’s time to head towards TeamLab Planets. Follow these directions:

  1. Exit Toyosu Station and walk to Toyosu Central Square.
  2. From Toyosu Central Square, take a short taxi ride or walk for approximately 10-15 minutes to reach TeamLab Planets. The museum is located in a distinctive building, making it relatively easy to spot.

Some Things You Should Know Prior to Your Visit to TeamLab Planets

  • You will be barefoot.
  • All of your things will be left at the free locker storage area – you can only bring your phone.
  • Water levels can rise up to knee height for adults. In case of your child gets dripping wet, bringing the changing clothes for the child is recommended. Please avoid access to the next area if your child’s clothes aren’t dry enough.
  • There is water in certain areas. We recommend bringing a change of clothes for children in case they get wet.
  • In the event that visitors such as small children get their clothes wet, the staff will ask you to change your clothes. If you do not have a change of clothes, we have towels available to rent. Please wipe off your wet clothes before entering the next artwork.
  • Please note that the water area is not for swimming purposes.
  • An area of the site has a mirror surface. Please note that there is a possibility of your underwear reflecting on the mirror surface if you are wearing a skirt or wide-hemmed pants.
  • Shorts may be rented for free. Please inform the staff in the museum if you require a pair and return the shorts on your way out. Sizes run from XS to 6L.
  • The site features an area with strong stimulating lights and a dark area.
  • For safety purposes please never let go of your child’s hand.
  • For visitors with children, please make sure not to let go of their hands as doing so could be dangerous.
  • There are detour routes for visitors, including those with disabilities and those with children, that would like to skip certain artworks. If you wish to do so, please inform the staff nearby.
  • Visitors with infants may enter with a (front) baby carrier.
  • There are diaper tables available in the bathrooms in the museum. If you would like to breastfeed or rest, there is a first aid room in the museum. Please feel free to inform the staff if you wish to use it.
  • During rush hours, customers who have been on site for a long time may be asked to go forward by staff.
