1. Visit the Sacred Monkey Forest
Mandala Suci Wenara Wana is home to more than a thousand Balinese long-tailed Monkeys. Aside from the monkeys, there are also 3 Temples and about 186 species of plants or trees. It’s a fun place to be and something you should never miss in Ubud. However, please be careful as monkeys might get aggressive or steal your things.

2. Check out the Ubud Palace
The Puri Saren Palace is the official residence of the Royal Family of Ubud. The Ubud Palace has been built in the 1800s and shows Balinese Architecture. Pop in as entrance fees are free and you get to check out the front portion of the place. There are also performances at night showing traditional Balinese Dance, tickets are about IDR 100,000.
