Zurich Switzerland was our 11th stop on our European Honeymoon adventure. We only had three days in Zurich, but it was one of the most memorable experiences I had in my entire life. Well, thanks to Grand Kameha Zurich, we were ‘whipped’ with so many fun memories. I would tell you more about our awesome experience at the latter part of this post. But before I give you the details of our room, allow me to tell you some quick facts about the property.
With just a few years under its belt, guests who were able to experience this property always end up being amazed. That alone tells us how incredible the entire property is.

Mission: To create favorite places where they can inspire guests
I think they have accomplished that mission with me. I can truly say that it’s one of the properties that I would include in my ‘favorite places’ list. It’s not your usual hotel where you can just find comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. It is not just about intricate interior designs and expensive furniture. They make sure that your stay isn’t just about sleeping on their property. Grand Kameha Zurich takes you to different worlds with their themed suites. You can choose from some themed suites depending on your taste. You can be a celebrity, royalty or even a poker master to name a few.
Diva Suite at 40 square meters
Located on the first floor, this room is perfect for women who would like to dress up and makeup. You have your cosmetic table and huge mirror so you can easily check your outfit for the day.
Serenity Suite at 50 square meters
Find your inner balance in the Serenity Suite. Do some serious yoga inside your room as you enjoy yoga mats and elastic bands included in your stay.
Princess Suite at 40 square meters
Do you want to feel like a royal? Then why don’t you choose their Princess Suite where you can enjoy an illuminated vanity mirror that will magnify your beauty? Relive your childhood dream in this suite.
Gentlemen Suite at 60 square meters
A solid room that features roulette table ideal for all James Bond fans out there. Get your guy friends to check out this room, and I’m sure they would love it!
Fairplay Suite at 60 square meters
Do you love sports? Then book this room that has a boxing bag, table football and some cool board games. I don’t think you will need to leave this room!
Workout Suite at 60 square meters
Who says that you have to go to the hotel’s gym to workout? (but I still recommend to check it out) Grand Kameha Zurich has a suite dedicated for guests who are conscious with their physique. Simply put – it’s your fitness center.
Ghost Writer Suite at 50 square meters
If you want more creative juices to flow while you write, check this Ghost Writer Suite and be inspired with old – school writing devices. In this suite, you are taken back in time.
Pokerface Suite at 40 square meters
Do you want to have a private poker session with your pals? Have this room booked for a couple of nights and enjoy.
Watch Maker Suite at 40 square meters
Are you a fan of watches? This suite will make you drool. Trust me; you will never forget the time in here.
Oriental Suite at 60 square meters
Get to feel the oriental vibe in this suite located on the first floor of the property.

“Got me looking so crazy right now…”
That’s what the first thing that came into my mind when we first entered the 60 – square meter – Burlesque Suite. I thought I was in the same room used for “50 Shades of Grey”! You see, I have slept in trains and weird accommodations, but it was my first time to sleep in a round bed (the first time I saw one was in Amsterdam). Indeed, it was a new experience for me.
If you want your honeymoon to be extra special and sizzling hot, you can even make use of their ‘toys’ which are far more different from the welcome treats we receive from other hotels. There are feathery – fans, whips, and even handcuffs which of course, you can use if you want to. 🙂 Just make sure you put the Do Not Disturb Sign outside your room so you can fully enjoy your suite’s ‘additional amenities.’
For some people, this room is quite intimidating. But if you are adventurous and will be staying with your lover, I don’t see any reason why you should not take it.
The Grand Kameha Zurich is recommended if you wish to have a fantastic and unique hotel stay. For lovers out there, you know which suite to choose, right?
Other than the unique rooms, Kameha Grand Zurich has a Fantastic location
Kameha Grand Zurich has a great location which is a must if you are looking for a hotel and only have few days to explore the city. In just 6 minutes by car, you can already reach the Zurich airport. And in just a little over 10 and 15 minutes, you can see the Zurich Old Town and a shopping center respectively. Why not ride a tram from the airport that will take you directly to the hotel? That could be a fun experience as well.
Good Fine Dining Restaurants
You are sure to taste heavenly meals and delectable treats from the hotel’s Italian and Japanese restaurants. Plus, you can enjoy few drinks and make friends in the lounge.
Wellness and Fitness Center
The property has a great spa facility that will make your stay even more relaxing. Also, guests can enjoy the state – of – the art gym equipment.
Huge Events Area
If you need an events hall that can accommodate more than 900 people, then Kameha Grand Zurich can be your best bet.
