Postal ID Requirements

  • Completed Application Forms – Fill out and submit two Postal ID application forms (pdf in the link). Not sure? Ask for guidelines or help from the customer service hotline.
  • Proof of Identity – Present your PSA Birth Certificate, valid passport, valid driver’s license, SSS or GSIS UMID card.
    Note: Married women need to bring their Marriage Certificate, too.
    If you don’t have any of the above requirements, bring two of the following secondary IDs (one should have your photo and signature):
    • BIR ID
    • Baptismal Certificate
    • College Transcript
    • NBI Clearance
    • Police Clearance
    • Valid School, Company, or Government-issued ID
  • Proof of Address – Give one document with your address:
    • Barangay Certificate (issued within 3 months)
    • Utility Bill (cable, internet, landline, water, or electric)

    • Lease Contract
    • School Billing Statement
    • True copy of titles from the Land Registration Authority

  • Completed Application Forms – Fill out and submit two Postal ID application forms.
  • Proof of Identity – Provide a valid passport with at least 6 months validity. And prepare one of these:
    • ACRI-Card
    • Long Stay Visitor Visa Extension
    • SRRV
    • Temporary Resident Visa
    • Diplomatic Visa
  • Proof of Address – Use the same list above. If you are staying in a hotel or temporary place, submit a notarized housing statement. You can also get a statement of account instead.

How to Apply for a Postal ID

  1. Go to your local Post Office. Show your documents for screening.
  2. Go to the nearest ID capture station. They will take your photo and fingerprints.
  3. Wait for your ID to arrive:
    – Metro Manila: about 15 working days
    – Major cities: about 20 working days
    – Remote areas: about 30 working days
