Traveling Solo as a Married Woman: 9 Reasons Why You Should Travel With A Vibrator

WARNING: SENSITIVE POST AHEAD. IF THIS TOPIC ISN’T YOUR CUP OF TEA, THEN WHY ARE YOU STILL ON THIS PAGE? ?

At least once a year, I go on a solo trip for 2 months as my husband fixes things on the sailboat and go on his own projects and adventures. In 2017, I have traveled across Africa for 2 months and in 2018, I went on a 2 month trip in the Balkans and other European countries. This 2019, I will be going on a 2 month trip around Central Asia to finish my 150 Countries Goal for this year. During these times, I have been consistently receiving 3 questions:

  1. Hi Kach! Are you still together with Jonathan?
  2. Why is your husband letting you travel alone?
  3. What happens with your intimate life?

Well once and for all, to answer these questions: 1) Yes, we are still together; 2) He lets me travel alone because he trusts me (as I trust him); and for the million dollar question 3) To make sure I take care of my sex life, I bring a vibrator on my trips. I was kind of hesitant to post this but hey, let’s get real here and since I’ve told you already, might as well tell you everything– I have the Liberty from Womanizer and I love it!

I know it could be an odd topic to talk about for some people but I’m a married woman and this is completely normal! Here are 10 Reasons Why A Married Woman Should Bring A Vibrator On Her Solo Trips! 🙂

REASON #1: IT’S HARD TO BE AWAY FROM OUR HUSBANDS

Solo traveling is fun or maybe that’s how it looks like on our social media accounts. Well, it is indeed fun but behind every nice photo, every dazzling hotel room, and every new country for me, I always wish I was with my husband.

Don’t you miss having someone to help you carry your luggage in the cold or literally having a shoulder to lean on during bus or train rides, simply having someone to talk to during long layovers and someone to be with at the end of the day in your hotel room? I don’t know about you but I always do! Not just on those matters but also having my husband for my personal needs… I know he needs me too!Kach and Jonathan - Pictrip pictorial in London

I’m not gonna sugar coat things here. Solo traveling is great but once you’re married, you somehow feel incomplete without your other half (no matter how annoying he could be sometimes haha). Whenever I miss his touch, I’ll just call him and prepare my womanizer! haha!

REASON # 2: TALKING ABOUT A VIBRATOR WOULDN’T MAKE YOU LOOK LIKE A NYMPHO

Upon reading the word ‘vibrator’ in the title, I know some of you are thinking ‘Oh this is gonna be bad’ or ‘This is so gross why is she even talking about it’.

I just don’t understand why we can talk about our sex life so openly and never talk about this tiny machine whose job is to please us, women. I have traveled a lot and the more I explore the world and the more I meet open-minded people, the more I realized that it’s not embarrassing to talk about it at all and neither will it make you look like a nympho! If someone would think of you this way, then it’s their problem, not yours! I would meet some girls in hostels before talking about it and it’s just a relief to hear how casual it sounds and how normal it is.

Seriously, let’s stop thinking about having or using it as something immoral because it isn’t. MALE MASTURBATION IS COMPLETELY NORMAL AND SO IS FEMALE MASTURBATION 🙂

REASON # 3: WE NEED TO ORGASM!!

Do I hear an amen here?!! Come on people, women have their needs too and this goes especially for the married ones. With or without our husbands, we need to be pleased (not by any other man of course!). Having a vibrator mimics sexual penetration as well as clit stimulation and that’s what we need most when they’re not around.

Not all vibrators are created equal. The one I’m using called Liberty from The Womanizer has this Pleasure AirTechnology which gives you a ‘touchless stimulation’ that guarantees an orgasm within seconds or minutes, depending on how you use it. This provides a pleasant suction and gentle massaging airwaves which lead to a completely new kind of orgasmic experience. It. Is. Mind. Blowing!! ?

REASON # 4: WE NEED SOME TLC

The thing that our husbands bring to our body and all our senses is electrifying and the only thing that comes close to this feeling is the vibrator’s touch. We need this TLC when we miss them the most. Imagine being alone for 2 months when all you do when you’re with your husband aside from arguing is to cuddle, kiss, make out, and make love!

Seriously, it could be lonely not to be touched like that for months!!! The 6 Intensity Levels of the toy I have could please me the way I want, anytime, anywhere so I don’t feel lonely during my solo trips.

REASON # 5: IT’S NICE TO BE IN CONTROL OF YOUR BODY

Women empowerment? Remember, you always have a choice. We all want to be in control and this toy would give you exactly that. You can choose how fast it vibrates, how strong the vibration should be, how fast you need to cum and how often you want to cum (yes you can have multiple orgasms)! It is just amazing!!

REASON # 6: IT’S NICE TO HAVE SOME LITTLE SURPRISE

While it’s nice to be in control, it’s also nice to be surprised at times. I don’t know about your toy but mine has this Autopilot Feature which doesn’t allow me to take control of the buttons. Rather, it takes me on a journey through different intensity levels of The Womanizer. Every night is just as exciting as the first with this toy. It never gets boring! Read more here about this lady’s experience.

REASON # 7: SEXERCISING IS GOOD FOR YOUR RELATIONSHIP

Kach in Seychelles

Sex is an important part of every married couples’ relationship. We all deserve good sex!! Using a vibrator could totally spice up your sexual relationship by letting you understand your body. Knowing that will eventually lead to your partner knowing what pleases you and as you all know, we aim to please 🙂

Not just when you travel long term but also when your husband is not available.. you can do it to explore yourself and be ready when you get reunited with your husband!

REASON # 8: IT’S EXTREMELY QUIET

Most women are afraid to use it in their hotel rooms for the fear that someone might hear them. Come on ladies, no matter what brand you use, I’m sure it doesn’t sound like a vacuum cleaner enough for your neighbors to hear it! Honestly, I had the same worries before especially considering that we’re living on a sailboat so I really chose The Womanizer— it’s close to making no sound at all!

REASON # 9: THE PEOPLE WATCHING THE LUGGAGE X-RAY DOESN’T CARE IF YOU HAVE IT

After reading all these, I know there’s still some hesitation on your part to carry it along your luggage for these reasons: 1) You don’t want the airport officials in charge of the x-ray to see it; 2) You’re afraid that if they see it, they’ll ask you to take it out; and 3) You’re afraid people are going to judge you once they see it out in the open.

Seriously, these airport officials are busy looking for contrabands inside your luggage to even mind about what the shape or what the size of your vibrator is! These officials see thousands of these toys every day and I’m sure they wouldn’t mistake it for contraband for them to even ask you to take it out!

It doesn’t even look like the normal old style vibrators, it’s the latest technology now and it looks completely like just any accessories! I even forgot this in my hotel room one time and the room attendant didn’t even know what it is, maybe they thought it’s a facial massager? HAHA!

Traveling solo as a married woman shouldn’t deprive you of all these simple joys you get with your husband. Remember, you’re a strong and independent woman and you can’t just leave the key to your happiness into somebody else’s pocket. Everyone, let’s all have an open mind. It’s about time we make female masturbation as normal or as accepted as a male masturbation. We all have needs that we need to satisfy after all

  1. Love all your articles Ms.Kach! I’ve been following all your blogs since 2017. Your article about backpacking was featured in Arab Times Kuwait and from then on, you became my inspiration! I’m also a Filipina working in Kuwait and I’m planning to travel the world someday. I’m in my 40’s and because of you I’m so inspired to follow my dreams. After all, it’s not to late to fulfill my dreams, is it?

  2. Filipinas should be more open to these stuffs, i love how you stood up for indenpendent women out there Ate Kach, we need our own pleasure. Personally i dont use vibrator but again its a personal choice i might try it one day haha esp for long distance relationship.

  3. This is so empowering miss kach???.. i’ve never read such an open topic back in our country.. coz you know, even just wearing a quite revealing outfit makes a lot of “chismis” in the neighborhood.. or when they see a lady/woman (like me??) holding and reading or just scanning a mens magazine..most people around though they not voice it out but the look on their faces asking you “are you reading that magazine??”..but anyway ..yeah! That’s why i always dream to travel.. coz not just i want to explore the world and the people but also to explore about my self to find and learn what i really want for my self.. and thanks for this blog miss kach.. it adds to my confidence that after all it’s not bad to be a power woman???.. more power to you miss kach and to captain jonathan (and to your babies too capt. Ahab and little zissou)

  4. One of them things i love you Ms. Kach..very true and ypu really empowering women . i did it myself also because i was still away from my Husband and i also travel al0ne while im still here in the Philippines, before i really have the hesitation to bring it myself and being seen in the airport ? and then regretting once i got in the hotel and saying to my Husband i wish i did bring it myself hahaha.. But this post really touch me, women should know and love themselves after all ??

  5. This also works for those in LDR, one way of being intimate.
Masturbating made us think we are dirty aka immoral. This is better rather than having multiple partners nor premarital. At least the lady knows her body well and when the time comes she has to the deed, she knows how the climax works.

  6. I use the same and mine is bought by my husband because he is 3-4 months at work / 1 month at home. So this is our way of connecting with each other. <3

  7. Thank you, to be honest about this topic, and publish it. It’s so pitying that a lot of people don’t dare or feeling guilt to admit that part of adult life.

  8. Wohoooooooohhhh……..Such A Brave girl I knew ?????
I wish Every Filipina women should be just as open minded like you kach?
Yes, all women deserves a Good SEX????
That toy is Amazing wish it could be openly sold in Phils. Hahahaha…
    Will difinitely buy one?
And will become my company everywhere I Go hahahahha
Thank you kach for sharing this wonderful journey of your Life
    Keep Shining Bright and Bold??
    Love yah?
