Hotel De Russie, Rome – our Luxury Stay Review during our Honeymoon Trip @HotelDeRussie

When we were in Rome, we stayed the whole day outside exploring the city. Least to say, I was pretty much ‘drained’ and exhausted. Good thing that we stayed at the Hotel de Russie because such accommodation was what I exactly needed to recharge and regain the lost energy. Even if I was so tired with all the walks and tours we did for the day, I was still excited to show our massive room! Hence, my pitchy voice in the live video. 🙂

Speaking of voice, some people even thought I was drunk while I did the live video. But friends, I was not. I just had few drinks of expensive prosecco and boy, I love every sip of it! It’s funny though because few years ago, I am fine with a beer that will cost me a dollar. Safe to say, this is Kach – levelling up her lifestyle. Don’t get me wrong though, I still love simple things. I can still ride in trains and do odd jobs to survive. But if something fancy comes along (and for free) who am I to decline, right?

And since we are talking about fancy, the Hotel de Russie is considered one of the most elegant and most expensive hotels in Rome. If you want top class, I suggest you choose to book in their property.

This five – star hotel is located between the Spanish Steps and the Piazza del Popolo on the Via del Babuino. You know that you can do so much within the area because the streets are still busy even at night time. That’s actually good because that means you can maximize your stay in Rome.

It’s not hard to fall in love with Hotel de Russie even if you are a young traveler or a ‘seasoned’ one. It’s because the hotel features the perfect balance of modern and traditional designs. Your stay will be definitely worth it – regardless of the room you choose.

Classic Single from 23 square meters

Traveling on your own? The Classic Single is recommended where you can relax in your French bed and can work on your desk. See the view of the streets and try to feel the Roman vibe.

Enjoy the contemporary Italian style rooms which are ideal for your business or leisure travel needs. This can house up to 2 adults.

Executive Room from 30 to 35 square meters

You will never go wrong with this suite and you can have a fantastic view of Piazza del Popolo. The intricate furnishings will definitely match your elegant taste.

A century ago, Pablo Picasso stayed in the hotel and the room is now known as the Picasso Suite. It has been renovated to suit the modern taste of today’s travelers. You get to see the Secret Garden and the slopes of Pincio.

The Breakfast

It doesn’t matter if you want a Continental, an American or a Buffet breakfast. You can have it all from Hotel du Russie. At least you can be sure that your day will start right with the awesome breakfast selection.

There are also other dining options if you like Mediterranean cuisine. Or maybe, try to stay in the hotel for an afternoon tea.

Apart from having spectacular spa facility, what I like about this is that the wi – fi will not work in the zone. Well, I understand that I am a digital nomad and I should be disappointed. I WAS NOT! Sometimes, we need to detach from the cyber world. The Hotel Russie’s spa will let you experience that.

Do you still want to be in shape even while you travel? The property has a dedicated facility for it.

And even if you are traveling for business, this is a great choice with its own business center.

Summary and Tips

What more do you need from Hotel De Russie? Nothing! They have the best location, wonderful staff, and rooms to die for. All you need is just to relax and see what the city has in store for you.

If you want to visit a lot of museums, I suggest that you get a Roma card. That’s going to be more cost efficient.

Our Rome trip marked the 24^th day of our honeymoon adventure and it was divine. I got a bit scared considering that an earthquake was reported hours before we checked in. But then again, who can resist the Hotel Russie? Not even a catastrophe can stop us.
