Our journey to Borobudur Temple was made even more special with the utmost hospitality from the people of Atria Hotel & Conference Magelang, Indonesia.

Luxury hotels in Indonesia Right from the entrance lobby, I found myself in awe and astounded by a warm welcome, of great music and cultural dance presentation from the little kids. We’ve been to a lot of places in Indonesia and stayed in different hotels but I must say this is one of the most memorable stay that I ever experienced. Atria Hotel is located in the city of Magelang, in Central Java, close to one of the most well known temple not only Indonesia but in the world, the Borobudur temple, which only takes 15 minutes to reach the place. Hotel is perfectly located near the shopping malls too.  A hotel with intricate and modern interior design, this four star hotel is certainly best suited for business travelers, providing great facilities that can cater and hold events with large number of people, may it be a big conference, meetings or even gatherings for special occasions like weddings. It’s a big modern hotel with conference facilities which can accommodate up to two thousand one hundred people and a perfect wedding venue that can hold up to one thousand five hundred guests.

Dead tired for the whole day activity and all the flights and bus rides, everyone’s relieved, amazed and surprised by a feast like scenario at the entrance lobby.  The traditional dance that they’ve prepared and shown to us is by far the happiest and grandest welcome we’ve ever received in our entire trip to Indonesia! When visiting Magelang, Indonesia…

Climate in Indonesia is almost entirely tropical whereas insects like mosquitoes thrive the most so better be ready with simple protection by bringing mosquito repellent. Tropical regions like Magelang, Indonesia has often hot weather so you need to always keep a bottle of water in hand to refresh yourself and prevent heat stress. Keep your self cool by wearing light clothes and match it up with a hat and a pair of sunglasses as protection from the heat and light of the sun.
