Feeling like a local in Prague, 5 Reasons to Stay at Mooo Apartments
Prague was our 10th Honeymoon stop and I have to say, I shall give this city an almost perfect 1o! It was Jonathan’s first time, can you honestly believe it? He’s from the UK but most of the places we have on our UK trip were his first time to go to! Moving along, Prague is a beautiful and romantic city that is ideal for newly – married couples like us and one of the highlights of our trip was the cruise along the Vltava, with a delightful buffet meal showcasing Czech delicacies as well as international cuisine which we booked thru Tinggly.com.
If you will include Prague in your itinerary and you wish to feel like a local, I say ditch the hotel rooms and go for the apartments. That’s actually what we did and it is pretty much recommended.
We stayed at MOOo Apartments and I’m excited to share with you why you should stay here as well! Have you seen my live video on Facebook? If not, check it out and you can see how amazed I was with our lovely room. I don’t want to bore you with more ‘blahs’ so here are the reasons why you should consider booking at MOOo Apartments.

1. The location is on point!
MOOo Apartments is located in the city center where you can easily walk around and explore the area. With this, you get to see the daily grind or the everyday lives of Prague locals. Just so you know, apart from the great sights and jaw-dropping activities that I look forward to on any of our trips, I would always want to mingle with the locals. Such experience is equally liberating, don’t you think? You learn their culture first hand, and you get practical tips on how to survive their country too!
When you are in Prague or staying at MOOo Apartments, you might want to check out the following spots.
Prague Castle
Known as the official residence of the President of the Czech Republic. It is also considered the largest ancient castle in the world.
Old Jewish Cemetery
One of the largest, if not the largest, Jewish cemeteries. It holds around 100,000 graves that are piled up due to its limited space. This is one place that I would consider spooky, but pretty much interesting.
Franz Kafka Museum
A must–visit if you are interested to know Kafka’s life and his works. Get inside his head and appreciate him even more.
Tyn Church
The main church of Prague is where you can reflect as you enjoy the majestic architecture.
Old Town Square
If you are visiting Prague on Christmas and Easter, you might want to go to Old Town Square for the markets. I’m sure they have the best local items that you can bag home.
Charles Bridge
This is the historical bridge that crosses the Vltava River. Here’s a little something, there’s something about rivers and bridges that calm me down.
2. Sizes of MOOs Apartments
Do you want to stay in a small 1 – bedroom apartment, or would you like to live in a more spacious penthouse during your stay in Prague? With MOOo Apartments, these are all available. It doesn’t matter if you are a couple traveling together, or a family wanting to see the best of Prague. All you have to do is identify what you need and I’m sure there’s a suitable apartment for you.
I love their rooms! It’s very modern and you get to see a lot of inspiring quotations on its walls. Reading these quotations is a great way to end and also start your day. Don’t be surprised to see cow paintings too. After all, you are living in an ‘MOOo’ apartment. 🙂
The Two – Bedroom and Penthouse apartments have balconies so you can savor the view of the city streets as you wait for your home-cooked meals to finish. This leads me to our 3rd point why you need to stay at MOOs Apartments!
3. Cook in your kitchen
Do you want to save a few bucks? Why not learn some local cuisine and prepare it in your kitchen. Ours was complete with pans and pots, utensils, a stove (and my favorite) a dishwasher! Maybe you can go out and buy local ingredients and do your magic in the kitchen. It’s way cheaper to cook your meals than to eat at restaurants all the time.
4. Your PRIVATE Wi-Fi
Yes, you get to enjoy your private wi-fi at your apartment. This is important if you are staying in Prague for a long period and still want to be connected with the online world.
5. Private Concierge
What’s fun about staying in MOOo Apartments is that you get to enjoy the homey feel, but it still gives you that hotel treatment we all crave for. You even have your private concierge and the staff will be happy to assist you, most especially if you want to see the best of Prague.
I said I will only give you 5 reasons. I lied. There is more to love about the apartment.
- Bathroom accessories (so you don’t have to worry if you forgot your toiletries)
- Safety deposit box (if you don’t want to carry valuables when on the road)
- Free calls on fixed lines and mobile phones in the Czech Republic and fixed lines within Europe (who knows if you might need this)
- Superb Entertainment System (if you want to watch some shows or listen to great tunes)
But of course, you need to take care of your apartment as if it is your own. I found this ‘Damage List’ inside our apartment and I think it is reasonable to put corresponding costs on every item inside the house. If you break it, you have to pay for it. That’s pretty logical, right?
It was also shared with us that some visitors or tenants stay for 6 months up to 1 year. That alone tells us that it is a great choice not just for short-time stays but also for long-staying guests. It can be your home! Again, at MOOo apartment, your location is perfect, your unit is complete and everything is right at your fingertips. And these, for a cost lower than that of the hotels’. Great value for money, that’s for sure!
Note: This post was made possible by MOOo apartments. They gave us a complimentary stay at their awesome apartment. However, all opinions are mine.
Prague is at the top of my travel list for places to visit. I definitely will look further into mooo apartments . The private concierge sounds too good haha
Looks like an awesome stay! I’d love to check out the Prague Castle. Thanks for sharing 🙂
I absolutely love Prague, its such a kitchy city with tons of interesting historical and modern architecture and relevance. We had a fabulous time. I have stayed in a apartments a few times when traveling with our kids, but I love being catered to in hotels now that its just the two of us. I’ve added this to my list of recs for my readers, thanks for sharing.
