A road trip is one of the best ways to see a country or state as it enables you to see more than one place when you’re there. You can enjoy a number of different sights, cultures, food and drink during the same trip. Other holidays such as all-inclusive resorts can soon become much of the same and you don’t get to experience as much. There are many road trip destinations you can choose from and you want to think about what you want from your road trip before booking it. A great road trip destination is Florida and if you’re planning your trip, there are a few things you need to think of. Here are our recommendations of where to go on a Florida road trip when looking to travel to the United States.

Begin your America road trip in the state of Orlando where you can enjoy the many theme parks. Head to Universal Studios or Walt Disney Studios where you can enjoy a range of rides. Spend time with your family or friends finding something to do for everyone. In Orlando you can also enjoy things such as a hot water balloon ride, or shopping in the many outlet malls. You could either stay in one of the hotels on site in the parks, or find a catered accommodation or other hotel a little further out.

Palm Beaches is a great place to visit offering a bit of everything. Here you can enjoy a host of activities such as visit the Henry Flagler museum, or head to Worth Avenue which is an upmarket street with shops and galleries to visit. Fort Lauderdale is a pleasant city with a famous beach with white sands and crystal clear water. Take a walk along Las Olas Boulevard which is known for its shops and be sure to head to nearby museums such as the Museum of Discovery and Science or Bonnet House Museum and Gardens. The city centre offers glass blowing and you can see a host of animals in the Flamingo Gardens.

Make Miami your final stop on your road trip where you can immerse yourself in the glamour and laid-back lifestyle. Spend your days on the pristine beaches, partaking in water sports as well as catching the sun’s rays. There are many amazing restaurants to visit when you’re in Miami, so be sure to wander South Beach where you can enjoy some of the best food you’ll ever eat. Make sure to add Nobu to your list, as well as the Sugar Factory for some novelty fun!
