Wow! I have only been to one of them. Didn’t know that a lot exist. Thanks for the information!
This is indeed a revelation, never knew that so many hostels in South East Asia are equipped with Swimming Pools. It is incredible, that actually some of these pools can give resorts and bigger hotels a run for their money. I do see however that the pools are full and a great place to have fun, however if you are looking for a quite swim in solitude, you may have to search for an appropriate time.
Scream, a boat load of choices where to go and backpack. I haven’t been to all those Hostels and would love to visit them soon when I have enough funds. Thank you so much for providing this list, it makes me motivated and prompted. I will surely make this as my guidebook.

Holy cow. I do NOT know where to start. Can I just leave work and skedaddle to all of the places here?! I love this list (bookmarked!), and I’m so happy they’re very affordable too. Had a hard time breathing while going through your post, haha. I’m really itching to get away from the city and meet new people! Do you have a favorite from the list?
This is a great helpful list! 20 is not less!
Lot of hardwork must have gone into compiling this.
I am saving up all these with one click. 🙂 Hope to be in these places some day!
What a list! Very extensive and im sure all are the best! I didnt know hostels can be as pretty like that with pools? The Deejai Backpacker with lots of people in the pool, are they partying? Is that the scenario all the time? Coz if thats the case then i think it isnt clean with all the different people playing around hehehe! The rates were all affordable too.. i should bookmark this page for future reference 🙂
Great choices! I also usually book hotels with swimming pools for the added activity. These look like places where you can book with your friends. Plus, they don’t actually break the bank. Very helpful list you got!
I am in awe. LOL. I had never thought of hostels with swimming pools. There is one you posted where there is a crazy number of people in the pool. On one hand, it is … how can it be that clean??? On the other hand, that is one way for guests to socialize, which in itself it an advantage. I also took notice of how the hostels in the Philippines generally are more expensive than many others. It has always been my impression that our accommodation could be cheaper.
Wonderful and informative! I am planning to take a trip to Cambodia and Indonesia, so these details will definitely be so useful for me! Great deal of investigation has gone into this from you! Really appreciated by all us travelers 🙂
Very informative article and great pics! I would love to try few of those hostels swimming pools sometime in the future. I do not know how to swim though. Hahaha! Anyway, I guess I will just bring something that will keep me floating. 🙂
