Most days have been spent working on boat projects and managing online clients, making a break long overdue. Rooms at Hideaway are thoughtfully designed for both comfort and style. The Luxury Room offers views of either the pool or garden, while Diamond Club™ members can upgrade to a Luxury Ocean View Room, a Luxury Suite with a semi-private pool, or a Honeymoon Suite with a jacuzzi, which can also be upgraded to an ocean-view option.
The Luxury Ocean View Room was the perfect choice, offering a serene and scenic atmosphere to wake up to each morning. Natural light filled the space, creating a warm and inviting environment. The ceiling-mounted rain shower and satellite television were welcome comforts after weeks spent on a sailboat without such luxuries.
One of the highlights was the premium handcrafted DreamBed™, which provided the most restful sleep in months. If it were possible, that bed would have been taken home—though fitting it on a sailboat would be quite the challenge!
As Diamond Club™ members, additional perks included exclusive à la carte dining, a private bar and lounge, a dedicated pool and beach area, upgraded room service, and even a personal butler!

Pools and Beaches – Whether you want it fresh or salty, tranquil or funky, Hideaway has everything for you. Choose between luxurious pools and beaches surrounding the area including the Signature Pool, Diamond Club™ Pool, Infinity Pool, Hideaway Pool, Royalton Beach, Diamond Club™ Beach, Hideaway Beach, and Hideaway Diamond Club™ Beach. Tennis Courts – If you’re up for some exercise, you can book an appointment with the onsite Tennis Court. If you don’t have a partner, their instructors are very much willing to join you.
Non-motorized water sports- Add extra spice to your beach trip with an afternoon of kayaking or beach volleyball. This is a great way to lose weight and meet new people too!
The Royal Spa- To complete your relaxing getaway, head on to The Royal Spa which features a hydrotherapy circuit and a full range of massage, body and facial treatments featuring time honoured healing practices.
The Food
Whether you’re craving for Mexican, Italian, International, Asian, Mediterranean Cuisine, or perhaps some steak, teppanyaki, or gelato, they have it all! Want a 7-course meal? Sure you can get it. I told you they have it all 🙂
Choose from Gourmet Marchè, Grazie, Opa!, Jade, Hunter, Zen, Under The Sea, Bella Cucina, Mexicana Cantina, Scoops, and C/X Culinary Experience Restaurants, which are all located within the complex. They use only the freshest and best ingredients, so your food is guaranteed to be mouthwatering!
Dorado Restaurant, an exclusive dining option for Hideaway guests, was a standout. The steak was so tender it melted in the mouth—so good it was ordered for both lunch and dinner! Since the resort was all-inclusive, meals and drinks were available anytime, anywhere. Returning to the room always meant finding complimentary bottles of red wine, champagne, Bombay Gin, and more, adding a luxurious touch to the stay.
The service was outstanding, with staff members like Angelo (bartender) and Luddy (Dorado Restaurant) going above and beyond. They made dining experiences feel personal, remembering favorite drinks and appetizers before even placing an order!
