Upon reaching Cancun International Airport, you only have to take a short drive before you experience the paradise NIZUC has to offer. From being backpackers staying at the most affordable hostels, we are now enjoying the luxurious lifestyle in some high-end resorts. Now, what do we have to say about this amazing place?

Luxury Hotel Review – NIZUC Resort & Spa, Cancun, Mexico

Luxury Hotel Review – NIZUC Resort & Spa, Cancun, MexicoWe arrived at NIZUC after 6 weeks of back-to- basics backpacking, so we were more than ready for some hard-earned luxury rest and relaxation. From the moment we arrived, we felt that NIZUC was more of a retreat than a resort, the entrance way lined with trees and flowing water integrated into every aspect of the design.

The beach was more tranquil than other areas of Cancun and offered endless snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding opportunities. When we weren’t in the sea, we lounged in the two infinity pools, both overlooking the ocean. Check their website to learn more about this award-winning luxury property!

PEOPLE

The staff at NIZUC are definitely well-trained and they truly understand the value of service. They are innately friendly too and their warm smiles will make you feel at home. Our stay was even more memorable because of them. From the hand on heart with every hello, to the chatty golf cart drivers who were always there to take us where we needed to go. They would go out of the usual and exert effort to please the guests. It is safe to say that they are already a big asset for the resort.

Mouthwatering homemade pastas are waiting for you in Terra Nostra. The team is headed by Chef Daniele Tonin which makes every food in this Italian – Mediterranean restaurant heavenly and jaw dropping. They say to truly test any Italian restaurant, ask for the risotto first – if it takes at least 15 to 20 minutes and it blows your mind, then start ordering the rest of the menu. We spent several hours here!
