Luxury Hotel Review: Library Hotel in Madison Avenue, New York @LibraryHotel

By Kach Umandap February 10th, 2016 Posted in Best Luxury Hotels, Luxury Hotel Review, Travel Blog 21 Comments

This boutique hotel in Manhattan has a very literal library concept. Each hotel room is uniquely inspired by a different topic and conceptualized using the Dewey Decimal system! Each guestroom floor of the hotel represents the system’s 10 major topics: Social Sciences, Literature, Languages, History, Maths & Science, General Knowledge, Technology, Philosophy, The Arts and Religion. I loved staying in a hotel with so much personality!

The Library Hotel treated me to a beautiful Deluxe room, it was so spacious (250sq feet!) with a really comfy queen size bed. The room they chose for me had the theme of Middle Eastern literature with many books on the subject, such a shame I couldn’t spend my whole trip relaxing and reading! On my first night I went to their rooftop bar where I enjoyed one of their Signature cocktails on the house, a must have! It’s worth taking time to appreciate the beautiful building itself and all of the little details that add to its charm.

You can check details and latest rates on Booking.com , Expedia or Agoda or visit their website directly.

ACCOMMODATION

My deluxe room was really spacious and tastefully decorated with carefully selected furniture to continue the library feeling and Middle Eastern books. You might be too relaxed here to leave and explore the city!
