We have stayed in a number of luxurious resorts and spas in Miami and these hotels have always exceeded our expectations. So when it was time to check out other places to stay, we have already elevated our standards. Question now is, did The Hall made it to one of our favorites?

Welcome Drink and a fruit platter!

Hotel Review: The Hall Miami, Miami Beach, FloridaThe Hall is a boutique hotel in South Beach Miami or SoBe, which is a 1940’s Art Deco transformed into this beautiful bohemian – inspired property perfect for artsy tourists, like us! It is strategically located just one block from the ocean, few steps away from the famous shopping/ dining district, Lincoln Road and, the Ocean Drive. If you want accessibility, then this could the perfect choice. Almost everything is minutes away.

PEOPLE

We all know Miami can get pretty hot! And that sometimes erases the smile from our faces. However, the people from The Hall seems not to feel the heat of the sun as they always greet you with the largest smiles on their faces. Indeed, it brightened up our stay. Their kindness is pretty much consistent from the day they gave us our welcome cocktails, to the day we checked out. I really commend the services the staff has given us. Thumbs up!

ACCOMMODATION

All rooms will remind you of the Caribbean given the colors of the walls. And of course, the beach – inspired art pieces inside the rooms will constantly remind you to hit the beach instantly. But what I really like is their hardwood floors which reminds us of the old and simple architecture back then. It’s a mixture of classic and contemporary design. I would like to think it matches our personality, don’t you think? You can choose from the Deluxe King, Premier Queen, Pool View King, Deluxe Queen and Pool View Suite. Here’s what to expect from each room.

FOOD

Ah, my favorite part.

If you want an exquisite beach – inspired food, then Sunny’s will fulfill that craving of yours. Spike Mendelsohn, the restaurant’s chef, does not make his creations by the book, but he was able to create impeccable dishes from his actual travel experiences. Trust us, his food will take you to different continents. It is absolutely good in so many levels.

  • They have breakfast, brunch, dessert, juices and of course, an all-day menu depending on your taste palate. You can even ask them to deliver your food in your room.

TIPS

Get a room with a pool view so you can enjoy further your morning newspaper or hot beverage. It is always peaceful to see calm waters before you. Just because you can’t have a full view of the beach, doesn’t mean you can’t get that same feeling of tranquility.

AREA GUIDE

And if you want to take a walk and do more things, then here is a quick list to follow.

Two Monkeys Travel - USA - Miami - Luxury Hotel Review - Circa 39 2Lincoln Road

Do you want to have some casual dining and shopping? Then go to Lincoln Road and make sure you pack light because you might end up bringing home tons of stuff from shopping. Of course, don’t forget to have your souvenirs.

Art Deco Historic District

Walk and see the amazing old – school architectures that will take you back in time.

You can stroll around the South Beach using Segway and take your time marveling the amazing coast of Miami. This is perfect if you want to save energy from too much walking. At least you can use that spare energy for some night parties.

And speaking of parties, you just go to Collins Avenue. It can be pretty noisy and busy, but this is where the fun happens.

  1. The distance of the hotel from the wonderful spots to see are perfect to make it as base in traveling around Miami.

  2. Aren’t you tired staying in a luxury hotel? If you do, let me experience it for you. Hahaha. This is the hotel I will surely stay.

  3. The reason why I love boutique hotel – so much personalised arts and details. The Hall has everything you need too.

  7. Wow, what a perfect place for a staycation! The place looks hip and I would love to dive into the pool. I wonder, does the hotel get a bit crazy during the infamous spring break?

  8. This place looks spectacular! Love the big pool! I like hotels with really delicious food. It’s always a plus for the hotel when the Chefs are good. That is also why hotels pay a premium to hire the best chefs for their restaurants.

  9. Beautiful pool view from the room. The bed looks comfortable. I love the enteriors and design too.

  10. Everything about this looks so luxurious… however, I’m the type that goes away and spends minimum time in the room so this would never work for me. Haha! I’d just feel guilty for booking it and not staying there!

  12. Miami Beach and Florida in general have been on my wish list for ages. Such great views from the hotel x

  13. Thanks so much for sharing this. I was just reading it thinking about how much I would love to go; and also how much I now resent Hubby B who is going in November with work and without me!

  14. Wow! It’s so beautiful. I really love reading your blogs, it’s like your bringing me to the place itself. I like those gazebo like thingy with curtains! OHHH! I really want to visit this place.

  15. The room looks cozy! And that pool, wow! We rarely get to try the hotel amenities though as we often just go with a simple room just to stay the night. Staying in this hotel though seems like vacation already.
