FAMOUS FOR: Nice hostel! They had sessions for calligraphy, origami, painting, and cooking lessons during the night, which is a nice way to meet people and learn the culture! A great hostel and pic pick service from the station is a great touch, considering the location is quite a walk. Close to convenience stores and easy walking distance from the station. The place is clean and has great facilities (kitchen and bathrooms). The deluxe dorms almost felt like private rooms with stains. Dorms have lockers and plenty of space for rucksacks. The price is really good for this hostel. The hostel has a low-cost trip so sightseeing Mt. Fuji is recommendable. FAMOUS FOR: Traditional Japanese house with a traditional living room. A fantastic little hostel with friendly staff who can speak some English. The location is good – a few minminuteslk from Fujinomiya train station and bus terminal. All very clean. Air-con. Living room, kitchen, shower, hairdryer, and washing machine. Every bed has a little curtain around, and a reading light plus wi-fi works great. The dorm itself is super clean, and the wooden bed doesn’t squeak with minor movements. Owners are very very nice and welcoming, always willing to help and recommend great places to go in and outside the area. Guesthouse Tokiwa defies initely one of the best hostels in Mount Fuji, Japan.
