  1. I wish you would caption the photos, including the ones you use on the cover page. Where is that big domed space? I also find the pages repetitive and way too general as you describe barrios with not much specific about them.

I did find the itineraries to be good with some surprises in there. But who knows what is still surviving as the post is 5 years old and Spain was brutalized by the pandemic.

  2. This is actually a superb article about where to go out at night in Barcelona. Last time I went there was almost 10 years ago so I cannot remember which bars I hit up but what I do remember of is that not one night I spent there bored:)
All the attractions are spread throughout the city so you’ll have to travel a bit but the public transportation is quite good so no need to worry about this a lot.

I do recommend to stay at least 3-4 nights there and if you are flexible with your travel dates try to avoid the summer months as the city gets over crowded … meaning lots of waiting in the line at tourist attractions and at the bars at night as well. In my opinion Barcelona is quite expensive but no matter where you eat you gotta try the real Spanish tapas and Paella.

  3. You have a really cool blog, I just have a comment about this article, being a Barcelona local. Opium Mar is one of the most “guiri” (touristic) clubs there is. Most locals prefer to stay home than going there, at least if you are over 25 years old. All you are going to see there are drunk erasmus students and lost tourists. Yes the place is nice, but the crowd is definitely not local!
But as I see this is a guest post, written by a Hostel company so I imagine who wrote it must have some deal with the nightclub perhaps?

  4. A versatile Barcelona city which make a different place in the world. Great !!! thanks a lot for sharing your lovely experience with us..

  5. We back from Spain 7 days ago! It’s really fantastic!
What i can say as a fact: Restaurants in Barcelona is leading in the Europe!!!

  6. Nice article and some good spots to add for next visit! By the way I believe Moulin Rouge picture ended up in the wrong post ?)

  7. Wow! Some energy to do all of that in 3 nights, well done! BCN is a great place especially for the night life with loads of international students and fun people!

  8. Thanks for writing the excellent article. I have wanting to go Barcelona for quite some time. Besides the Football Craze over there, I would very much love to visit the places you described. Thanks for the excellent article once again! Your site rocks!

  9. I worked as a nightlife promoter in Barcelona and it was amazinnnng! (there’s a post about it on my blog) Great article guys! Thanks for sharing!

  10. The nightlife sounds amazing. We went to Barcelona last year but spent so much time taking in the sights and sounds during the day, we were truly shattered by the time the night came along. I’ll just have to go back and make more of the nightlife, it sounds amazing. I am gutted we didn’t see any flamenco dancing, but you can’t do it all eh?
