These are the internet providers in the Philippines that you could apply for in your homes. Which is the best plan depends on your location and preferences. If you are in the province, like me, Globe is a good choice since they are reliable here and have many towers. For cities, usually, Globe and PLDT are emerging leaders, though Converge is gaining a good reputation in Metro Manila. For those who love to watch TV, SKY offers a bundle with cable and access to Netflix, which is a great bonus. Eastern Communications also provides the lowest lock-in period.

  1. Globe fiber is as good as a scam, I have 150 Mbps subscription, yet my speed barely reaches above 50 Mbps. When I talk to the Globe representative over the phone, the guaranteed speed for 30Mbps is 30% of 150 which is 45 Mbps

  2. hi, i have my future wifey, that lives in La Paz Leyte, Philippines and we are more then likely getting married online, i plan on getting her a laptop, but which is the fastest internet to get for her there where she lives thank you.

  3. I can’t seem to find any information about internet provider in San Roque Liloan Southern Leyte. I am inquiring if there is internet cable system in that area that can provide 150 mgbps but would love to have 200+ mbps

  4. Do you have any provider in mind you can recommend for surigao city area? I dont like the services of PLDTHomeFiber, I am presently subscribing 1,300 pesos a month for 20 mbps

  5. Hi Lyza! Which is better? Planet Cable or Converge Fiber.. My location is San Felipe, Cuenca Batangas.. Thank you and God Bless!!

    1. I think it’s better to ask your neighbor and friends there, I heard converge is good, but haven’t experience Planet Cable.

  6. Hi Lyza:
How do Globe, PLDT, Converge, and Eastern connect to the internet?
Can an individual connect to the internet the same way they do?
Can an individual connect to the internet without going through one of the 4 ISPs?
I’m planning to move to a remote area with sparse population not serviced by the 4 ISPs.
    Thanks for any insights,
    Michael

  7. The only internet that is NOT shit posted in this article, I think is Eastern. Customer Service is also a big factor to consider in choosing an ISP. Right now, Converge has the fastest internet but ironically the worst ISP because of their customer service. They ignore customers concerns and complaints and even delete comments. PLDT and Globe are SOMETIMES good but really inconsistent. Sky, however, my friend is using Sky and even amidst Typhoon Ulysses, there is still connection.

    Tierlist:
    A – Eastern
    B – Sky
    D – Globe
    F – Converge, PLDT

  8. thanks for the info. you mention that for best internet provider depends on location, budget…..can you advice which is best in Manila particularly at sampaloc area

  9. Im currently using Eastern Telecommunications’ EASTERN HOME.. wala sya sa nabanggit nyo po sa taas. 998 pesos a month for 10mpbs. May kasama pang phone.
2 years lock in period. 1 month advance payment plus 500 installation fee upon installment. Then after that, next billing mo will be 998 pesos na. Super bilis at ganda ng customer service. Aksyon sila agad pag may problem.

    They also have 30mbps – 1498
and other offers. Search nyo lang po EASTERN TELECOM EASTERN HOME.

    Im a satisfied customer.

  10. I want to apply for internet??can you give me the details, what will i do and what is the requirements needed???

  11. hi lyza, thanks for the info. you mention that for best internet provider depends on location, budget…..can you advice which is best in quezon city particularly along a. bonifacio ave.

  12. Hi I love your article which also includes details of the internet plans.
Just want to ask if is there an internet with no loss connection also with decent speed?
I have a family friend in their 60’s asking me before. They want to have internet with no loss connection for they are not techie and have no idea how to refresh modem or etc.
    Will wait for your answer.
    Thanks.
    G.O.

  13. This article provides details about the fastest internet providers in the philippines. I enjoyed reading this article and would suggest others it as well. Thank you for this article! This is really very informative for us and look forward to more such in future for all of us.

  14. All Internet Provider which go out over the PLDT Backbone to IX in Hongkong, are the Money not worth. PLDT reduces the Speed for Gamer and Streamer. My Ping go up until 8 times and my Packet loss from zero up to 91%. All this “Speed” was only inside the Philippines, when it goes over PLDT. The question why its like this, now, PLDT must pay for the Traffic between HKG and Philippines. And Streamer or gamer makes a lots of traffic, this reduces the Win…. Thats the answer.

  15. That’s right internet in the Philippines is so expensive but slow in speed and customer service really sucks!!! the worst customer service you cant find in any of the four telco like smart, globe, sky cable, and converge.. That’s why we would like new ISP to enter the Philippines like Telstra and ZTE but always blocked by this selfish and greedy telco.

in Malaysia you enjoy 100mbps of speed at only 1000 pesos! that’s right you read it right! And it is consistent speed and hight internet.

  16. As i have read the rankings of fastest internet in the whole world. Phillipines belongs to rank 97 which has only 6 to 10 mbps. So i don’t believe those ineternet provider who claims internet speed up to 50.

  17. I would like to provide high speed broadband to a family in Tabaco City in Luzon.
    What would you recommend?

    Thankyou for your help

    Les

    1. Try dctv. If I’m not mistaken, their office branch is somewhere in Tagas. You can also try for converge. Depending on your location in Tabaco, converge might be available in your area.

  18. Hi, could you recommend from these internet providers based on your experience or experiences from others? Also, my place is Sta Rosa Laguna that I want to know which is best performance here.
