  1. Hello,

Thank you for this wonderful guide. I was thinking maybe you can help me decide which of the Caribbean countries that are Visa-Free is best for a new tourist? Like which one has better tourist spot but budget-friendly..

Thanks for the advice, in advance..

  2. Hi, We are planning to travel in Kosovo next year 2018. We have tourist visa in South Korea. Do we need still to get visa or not?
we also planning to apply tourist visa in Japan. I just check the website of Kosovo under Special Categories:

-Holders of Travel documents issued by EU Member States, Schengen zone States, United States of America, Canada, Australia and Japan based on the 1951 Convention on Refugee Status or the 1954 Convention on the Status of Stateless Persons, as well as holders of valid travel documents for foreigners, may enter, pass through the territory and stay in the Republic of Kosovo up to 15 days without a visa.

-Holders of Laissez-Passer, regardless of their nationality, issued by United Nations Organizations, NATO, OSCE, Council of Europe and European Union, are also exempt from the visa requirement.

I dont know if we need still visa or not for Kosovo? Can you help me guys. TIA

    (Philippine Passport Holder)

I am holding a Philippine passport and would like to inquire if I still need to apply Bosnia and Herzegovina visa though I have a valid Schengen visa now?

    1. Hi. my brother will be travelling from Philippines to Dubai next yr. Can he travel from Dubai to Armenia and vice versa?

  6. Wow! Georgia and Armenia are on my list! I just want to ask or to clarify about the visa for Georgia. I am a filipino, am I eligible to apply for e- visa in Georgia? Even if I don’t have valid visas from US, UK etc.

And also, if I travel to Georgia with a connecting flight from Dubai, do I need to get a visa to Dubai even if I won’t go outside the airport? Thank you!

  7. Hi Kach!

I have booked a flight to Nairobi Kenya on a whim. It is visa on arrival right? My Kenyan friend said yes. But i got confused because some website said it is e-visa. I am flying 5 days. Thanks form your guidance. Continue to inspire. 🙂

    1. Hello Jellette 🙂 I ran a quick check regarding on your question and yes, they’re requiring Ph passport holders nowadays to obtain a visa. need to edit this one 😉

  8. Im planning to go to east timor, and I saw in your blog that a visa is not required for filipinos for a period of 30 days. However, during my research on the internet I saw that a visa on arrival is required for a fee of 30usd for a 30 days of period of stay, im confused 🙂 and I think we still need to have a show money?

    1. Yep we know that Dom! But writing for Google’s Search algorithm is also necessary that’s why it is written like that. Thanks!

  9. Hi, thank you very much for this info. I’ll be going to cambodia this coming April or May to do some volunteer works and definitely i’ll visit the neighborig countries stated in this article. My only concern is that the requurements that we need for philippine immigration at the airport before departure because it might be the cause of delay for my trip. Heard about alot of stories of travellers being held in the airport that caused them to reschedule or cancell their flights. Thank you in advance..

  10. Hi there..im here in lebanon and im a philippine passport holder. Im planning to have a trip in bolivia next year by march. But my passport gonna expire on august. Is it ok or i have to renew it first cos it takes a lot to wait here to renew the passport..thanks.

    1. You need to have your passport valid for at least 6 months! Also, you have to consider that there’s no Philippines Embassy in some countries in South America so I suggest to renew your passport before you travel!

  11. good day…i am a filipino passport holder residing here in italy and we are planning to visit japan, yes we have residence permit here in italy, and we are wondering if we also need visa to enter japn..your response is mostly appreciated…thank you

  12. Believe it or not, it was this post that i chanced upon that inspired me to pursue a trip to armenia and georgia, now that I have booked my flights and hotel, i already checked the e visa for georgia and fortunately im exempted. Is the one visa on arrival in armenia applicable even to ordinary philippine passport holder like me, as indicated on some site it says on special or diplomatic passport holders are the one who can avail of the visa on arrival it did not clearly state all phippine pASSport holders. trying to use the armenia e visa site but it isnt working. Would you be able to say I am as well exempt from this? Hope to get an answer ..
    Thank you.

    1. Hello Monica, are you based in any GCC countries? I highly suggest get the e-visa even though we have the exemption rule to make sure that’s what I did. Check again their official website or email them.

      1. Agree. If you’re a Philippine passport holder alone you need to get an e-visa (online) in Georgia. Exemptions are: working/resident in GCC (e.g. UAE, Qatar, KSA, Oman etc…) or you have valid tourist visa in US or UK (multiple entry). Hope it helps

  21. Hi i have my japan visa already and i traveled to osaka last month, stayed for 6 days. Im planning to go to Georgia. But my passport will expire this december and will get a new one by september. Will the old passport i have will help me enter georgia given that i acquire Japan visa already? But by the time i will visit georgia my passport is already new will they still honor my japan visa on my old passport?

    1. Bring your old passport with you always, so you’ll have easy referencing for your Japan visa ( & all other visas you previously acquired..

  22. My partner and I wants to visit either new Zealand or Switzerland. He’s an American and I’m a Filipino and I have my passport together we want to go but we different passport. Will you share some of your idea and things we should do. Thanks

  23. These are great countries! But then again, there are no direct flights from the Philippines to most of them. Hence, a Filipino still needs a transit visa if he will be on a connecting flight from China, U.S. or the Middle East.

  24. I’m in Georgia right now, and it’s not visa upon arrival anymore. Check the website. You have to apply first in their embassy in Indonesia. Armenia, on the other hand, is still visa upon arrival for Filipinos.

    1. hi, i just checked their website but it says it is still visa free, now im confused since i am already arriving there on monday

    1. Hi Raffy, yes we do need visa. I also checked the website and I clarified this on the comments section on fb. When I revisited the article, suddenly it was changed from “visa free” to “Visa Waiver for 15 Days or you can apply for Kosovo visa in Istanbul, Turkey”.

      1. Hey Ara, why do we have to keep repeating that it’s been changed? It’s changed and updated after doing more research, when we started gathering the information, most of the infos were different and not updated and we’re updating it accordingly. Thank you!

    2. Yes, been there and got it in istanbul and takes 14 days. And i got istanbul visa first in able to reach kosovo embassy.
